well, the first bit of good news is that i just finished the photos from michael & andrea's wedding. i am going to post my favorites on here soon, but for now you can look at the slideshow by clicking HERE.
this family has such a special place in my heart, and i hope that you can see it in the photos. their mom is one of my dearest friends, and i love the relationship she has with the boys in her family. i think that she and her husband fit my theory perfectly of the fact that people should never quit having photos made together.
enjoy these photos. there is so much life and beauty... and just plain LOVE. i love them.
what i love about this photos is how stunning andrea is. it is PERFECT in showing just how beautiful she is. i saw this angle as she was sitting on the alter, and i said "stay there!" she looked at me like i was crazy (and i probably sounded crazy), but it was so nice that she trusted me no matter what i asked her to do. more to come soon from michael & andrea...
then onto zack & meredith; what great couples to enjoy. :)
i have a friend named blake who is a really great photographer. that is one of my favorite things about being a photographer; i get to interact with people in all areas, arenas, and parts of photography. blake is a really cool guy, first of all, but is a lot of fun to have around at weddings. hopefully we'll be doing more in the future.
check out his work at michael & andrea's wedding. these are some of my favorite images that he captured:
this is the title of a really GREAT lens, and this is what it allows me to do:
the above 2 "example" photos are so different from each other, but i love them both BECAUSE i am able to shoot from a distance. in both of the photos, i was able to really catch the emotion between the couple as they saw each other for the first time. SO much fun!!!
more photos coming soon... i have 2 wedding and a kid/family shoot to still blog. wow! so much to do, so little time!
i love the LIFE that this photo has. i had a shoot this morning with the w family, and they are so dear to my heart. (don't tell anyone, either, but i get so much more nervous when i know the people i am photographing!!)
getting all the boys into a family picture was a bit rough, but i love the emotions and LIFE we caught in the process... man, i love this kids, not to mention chad & christi.
My passion for pictures has warped into a hobby that I adore. I am never more honored than when people ask me to shoot things that are very important to them -- whether that be their wedding, their family, their engagement... I am living a dream of being involved creatively in people's lives, and I love it. I hope you feel the same energy, emotion, and love in my pictures as I do...
