Grateful.

They said that Mom wouldn't live past last Thanksgiving. Not a chance. And here we are, a week from Turkey Day, and my heart couldn't be more full. I have learned that life is so much more than what we make it. I have learned to love extravagantly and not regret anything. I have learned to enjoy each moment of life and remember the blessings, even if unseen.

Thanks be to God for providing me with all my needs. And many of my wants. And a mom who can watch me turn 24. And teach me how to be a good friend, believer, sister, aunt, and wife (one day). Mom, there are no words to describe how much I love you... and how grateful I am to God for 2010.

A Marathon Sunday!

I just so happened to have many inquiries for couple/family photo shoots this month and had to put them all on 2 days. I really love, though, how these came out today. First up, Sara and her new fiance, Ben. I don't think I have seen Sara since high school - it was so fun to be able to catch up with her.

Then were these 2 cuties:

And, Jenn, a new friend of mine who wanted some photos with her boyfriend, Chris.

And, finally, my good friends and their precious little one:

What a fun-filled day I had! Remember to comment on this or any other blog post for another week to be "registered" to win a prize - just because I want to know "Who reads my blog?"

Lee and Katie

***Don't forget to scroll down and comment about "who reads my blog!" ***

I wanted to post this little "sneak peak" from today's wedding. Lee and Katie really are a very sweet couple, and their wedding was just beautiful. We got to the Hoover Country Club just as the sun was setting and were able to do a short portrait session. Love this one:

I also just finished some editing from last week's portraits shots and thought this one of these 3 little girls was just PRECIOUS:

More sessions tomorrow, so check back later in the week for more wedding/portrait images.

***remember to scroll down and comment, to possibly win a GOOD prize***

Who Are You?

I am always curious and sometimes surprised by who reads my blog and looks at wedding images. So, I thought that I would ask you guys. Comment to this blog post with simply who you are, and if you are not someone who I already know personally, let me know a little bit about what got your reading my blog.

Of course there are prizes involved. I will randomly select a few winners who can choose from prizes like free photo sessions, gifts cards, "beginner camera" one-on-one workshop, etc. So, get to commenting!!!

And, thank you for reading. I am so blessed to be able to enjoy photography like I can! And because everything is better with a picture: here is one that I really love from Becca's wedding:

Happy Birthday Mama!!!

My dear friend Abby recently had this cutie pie. It just happens to be her birthday, and I hope these pictures bring a smile to her face today! This cute boy was not too fond of photographs with his "Aunt Camille," but I really like what we got. Enjoy!

Happy birthday, dear friend. It's been fun to see you grow into such a wonderful, beautiful woman and mother. I love you dearly.

Josh and Keri

Keri and I go WAY back - all the way to middle school dance team! It has been fun to reconnect with her, and I am looking forward to her wedding with Josh this December. The plans are falling into place, and the Sonnet House is nothing short of fantastic. I am also looking forward to working with Meghan of M. Elizabeth Designs because her stuff never disappoints. For now, I'll let the pictures do the talking:

Marshall and Becca

Marshall and Becca were married earlier today at the 4-H Center in Columbiana. Last year, I shot a wedding there about this time, and it truly is a beautiful outdoor wedding venue. I am not going to lie - it was COLD today, but everyone braved the cold well. These two obviously have friends and family who care deeply for them, and it was an honor to be with them.

Special thanks to my friend, Abby, for helping me today. Also thanks to my friends Catherine and Bridgette for being supportive bridesmaids. Oh, and I can't forget Sharla, the greatest wedding director of all time!!!

Check back for more images later - family shoots and an engagement shoot tomorrow as well!!!

Mega Massive Magnificent Momentos!

Whew, this post is MEGA! Brian and Lora were married at my absolutely favorite venue, The Sonnet House. They had an outdoor wedding on a beautiful fall Saturday, and it was perfect. I'll quit typing and let the images speak. Enjoy!

Oh, and a very special "thanks" to the ever talented Jessica Wright for shooting with me!

Brian and Lora, thanks so much for entrusting me with your special day. I really truly enjoyed my day with you two...
